Advancing Evidence to Practice for Maternal Mental Health: Lessons Learned from the Africa Region

International Maternal Newborn Health Conference

This thematic session presented by the Implementation Science Collaborative discussed the global and regional policy environment for maternal mental health, highlighted examples of evidence from maternal mental health and psychosocial support interventions in low- and middle-income countries, and identified practical opportunities to advance the intersection of maternal health and mental health and psychosocial support evidence to policy efforts in the region and beyond.
