Dr. Andrei Esanu is an expert in Mental Health, Assistant Professor, and Director of NGO Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. He is a mental health expert specializing in stigma, depression, and suicide prevention. He serves as an Assistant Professor and is responsible for leading research projects at the Department of Mental Health, Medical Psychology, and Psychotherapy. Dr. Esanu oversees the Department of Early Career Psychiatrists and International Relations at the Society of Psychiatrists, Narcologists, and Clinical Psychologists from Moldova. As a National Consultant on MHPSS at WHO Moldova and an Expert in Mental Health for the Mensana project, he plays a pivotal role in the national reform of Moldova’s mental health system. His consultancy with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Moldova underlines his commitment to human rights.
