Juan Pablo Aranguren-Romero, PhD

Juan Pablo is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at University of Los Andes (Colombia). In 2016, he received the scholarship of the Research Grant Program “Exploring New Values for Society” from The Toyota Foundation (Japan) with the project ‘The Ethics of Listening’ and between 2016 and 2019 was a researcher at project Disappeared/Desapariciones. During 2019, he was a senior fellow of the French Institute of Andean Studies with the project ‘The ethics regarding the absence’. Currently, Dr. Aranguren is a researcher at the project  ‘Transfunéraire – Violences de masse et pratiques funéraires’ funded by the ANR (France). He is the author of several books including Managing Testimony and Administrating Victims.
